1 PT can
Served in an oversized, stemless, wine glass
This beer pours a murky orange color. It is topped with an inch of tan head that leaves a little lacing.
It has a tropical fruit and citrus nose with grapefruit and pine being the standout aromas.
The taste starts out with tropical fruit and citrus. Then I get a smack of grapefruit. Pine finishes the flavor and lingers.
Pretty full mouthfeel for and IPA.
This is a solid DIPA. I like the pine finish. It is more bitter than a lot of juice bombs that are common in this style which is a nice change of pace.

Overall a pretty big disappointment considering the $5/can.
Pours a completely hazy muted brownish orange that isn't all that attractive, but it does have a luscious , creamy head with solid lacing and staying power.
The aroma is surprisingly muted for a beer that's been dry hopped, let alone three times. Predominantly orange and grapefruit notes.
On the palate this is pleasantly old school, despite the appearance. It's got a nice body and structure with a noticeable, grapefruit pith bitterness, maybe a hint of pine in there. Unfortunately, the flavor is marred by an odd almond butter note, and it's got a papery mustiness as if it's gotten oxidized. The mouth is left puckered from the intense tannins in a way that isn't entirely pleasant.
The more I sit with the beer, it really achieves a remarkable balance. There are flaws here, but there are elements I enjoy, too, so it's interesting enough to sit with. That said, I would hesitate to buy another IPA from Shared/Side Project at this price point until I taste them do one that's world class.
