the latest shared brew and one of their best hoppy ones to date, a little hop burn in here, but super fresh and delicious and one that ha a rather unique hop complexion, and is clearly dry hopped to just about the max. hazy and starchy and turbid looking with lots of body evident but a tall white head on it too, makes it look alive despite the density. new zealand hops on this for sure, wheat and oats i would think in the base, notes of pineapple and kiwi and white grape and white peach and fruit roll ups from my youth, lots of tropical notes and very little citrus with it, classic new zealand varietals, but some bitterness too, its a great mix of varietals in both nose and taste, and even though the beer feels a little heavy from the grain to me for its abv, i like the smoothness of it and how it all seems to be in service of highlighting the hops, so fresh and vibrant in this. no doubt it could be a little cleaner, but these hops are next level, and this seems like a step up from their past hoppy ales, even the good ones, and makes me excited for whatever they come up with next. this is how you dry hop! cans looks cool too, they nailed this all around.

[IMG] Pours a very hazy yellow with a massive 2 finger head that leaves thick patches of lace behind as it slowly settles and canned on 5/10/18. 4.5

Smell is tropical all the way guava, passionfruit, tangerine, and a healthy shot of grapefruit rind. 4.5

Taste may actually be even better, a tropical juice bomb, wonderfully balanced with just a subtle hint of grapefruit bitterness on the back end. 4.75

Mouthfeel is a little bigger than medium, plenty of life, not dry but little stickyness from the crazy amount of fresh hops. 4.5

Overall this is just so darn tasty and spot on for the style. 6.5 ABV and it has more flavor than that, but so darn crushable. Thanks @bstyle for this under the radar treat. 4.5

Pours a very hazed straw color with one finger of ivory colored head. Average head retention, slightly better lacing aplenty

S: orange juice

T: Follows the nose, some sweetness and dryness up front. More orange juice, a little pomelo bitterness. Finishes with a little bitterness, some juicyness

MF: Medium body, slight carbonation, nice balance

Very drinkable, solid take on the hazed IPA style
