After more than 2 years bottle conditioning, we are happy to be able to share the newest small batch of Reflections.
The entire Reflections series began with this beer. The name, Reflections, was derived from the history of a barrel's past that is reflected on the future beer it ages.
On 11/03/2015, we racked a Bière Blanche experimental batch into a single, unrinsed French oak wine barrel which previously held an early batch of Fencerow. The result is a pale golden, tart Wit beer that has the huge aromatics of red and black raspberries. The pale color is deceiving, as you don't expect the loads of raspberries that the nose provides.

Picked up a 2015 bottle at SP Cellar during 2018 Beer Safari in St Louis.
Served at 50 degrees in a Hill Farmstead wine glass. Served with meal featuring braised pork; roasted Brussels sprouts and tart apples, herbed mustard sauce.
Nice clean pale straw pour with busy carbonated full head that quickly dissipated.
Nose was soft but rich with grass, leather, wood and very slight funk. Pleasant, attractive but not really exciting. Taste mirrored and tended to complement meal very well.
Went back and pour second half of bottle which had further warmed during dinner. Taste had evolved beautifully and exploded with red wine, berries, slight vanilla. Highly reminded me of RR Consecration
