The barrel-aged imperial stout which we selected for the 2020 Coffee Crawl was 2 barrels of our imperial stout recipe named Ellipses (...) which aged for 25 months in BLiS maple bourbon barrels. We wanted to experiment with the subtle notes of maple syrup still present in the beer and see how we could integrate them into one of our huge imperial stout recipes. Coma Coffee Roasters is new to our Coffee Crawl beer line up this year!
