Smells Like Vibes is our collaboration with our good friend Mike Pallen of Mikerphone Brewing in Chicago. We got together and brewed an imperial stout that melded two of our favorite recipes together and then finished it on Sump coffee, fresh ground cinnamon and TCHO cocoa nibs. The dryness of the coffee and cinnamon keep the viscous body in check while allowing the nibs to complete the roundness on the palate. We had a great time brewing this with Mike and then discussing adjuncts to finish it!

750 mL bottle. Inky black with no head. Looks thick. Smells of cinnamon, coffee, lots of fudge. Tastes very sweet with lots of cinnamon, coffee, big fudge chocolate flavor. Heavy, thick, but very tasty.

It’s good, not great. A little thin, but does deliver. Strong coffee forward, it’s good.

poured from a 750mL bottle into a snifter. pours black with very little head. nose is strong cinnamon with very little else shining through. taste is a little more balanced between cinnamon, coffee, cocoa powder & roast. it’s full bodied & thick. another delicious vibes.
