Double dry-hopped IPA with Riwaka and El Dorado.
Tim and Cory went to college with Bryan from Millpond and they have known each other for more than 20 years. We brewed an IPA recipe that is inspired by both of our methods and focuses on Riwaka and El Dorado hops. We are excited to release our version of Float to share with you!

Pours a opaque medium orange with two and a half fingers of dense white foam. Head retention is great. Aroma is big tropical fruits, hitting notes of tangerine, papaya, orange zest, and melon. There is a touch of hop green behind it, but it remains in the 'shade' of the tropical fruits. Flavor profile is honeydew, orange zest, papaya, grapefruit, and tangerine. It's loaded with tropical fruits, but not sugary sweet. Some late herbal grass adds just a soft bite to the finish. Mouth feel is soft, with a pillowy, cloud-like texture. Thickness is medium. Overall, the texture and balanced hop profile keep it drinking slippery smooth. It's not brash, or bold like many NE IPA, landing in a bit more of neutral territory.

poured from a 16oz can into a stemless wine glass. pours like orange juice with a two finger frothy head. citrus and grapefruit aromas and flavors with a fairly harsh alcohol burn as it warms up. full mouthfeel with just enough carb. overall, flavors seemed a little subdued and it starts to drink a little heavy as it warms up. still good though.
