poured from a 16oz can in a veil willi becher pint glass. pours a fairly clear lighter burnt orange with a finger or so of frothy white foam. citrus, grapefruit, cantaloupe, watermelon and some slight resin. taste follows. this is the same hop combination as BPFS (although that one is triple dry-hopped) yet this is much more grapefruit and melon with some pine. it’s not quite west coast but more midwestern. bitter enough but not as bitter as a west coast IPA. full mouthfeel with enough carbonation to make it easier drinking. it has a soft malt presence with helps with the mouthfeel. it’s drinkable but it has a malty, hoppy presence that makes you slow down and dip and savor it. really good. the shared IPAs and lagers continue to get better and better.
