Having this for a second time. Rated it to low the first time. Pours a pinkish purple color and smells of yeast and fruit. Tastes is mainly the blackberry with a bready backbone. Light and easy to drink way better than I remembered it being.

Pours a brilliant & bright orange with a thumb of cream colored head. Stays effervescent with stellar lacing & good head retention
S: Brerries, a little bit tartness, grassiness
T: Berry flavors, a little bit of yeasty twang & grassiness up front. Tartness, berries & dryness as this warms. Finishes tart, a little tawny/funky with just a little bit of berry sweetness & some jammy notes
MF: Medium bodied, lively carbonation
Not a bad take on this style with fruit, a little more guts is required here, ferment this in some brett yeast, put in barrels & take it all the way.... Still pretty drinkable

I had this on-tap at Twilight Grille in Springfield, Mo. I really enjoy this brew for it's easy drinking nature and well hidden ABV. It's a fruit beer with integrity and a secret kick. It holds it's balance very well between sweet and tart blackberry and subtle malts and yeast character; There really is no hop bite to speak of, it's an easy drinker through and through. I found it to be a fun beer for people who "don't like the taste of beer" and/or for someone like me, who likes a break from your "double" this and "imperial" that.
