Had on tap at Sticks and Stones Wed. night,my first try of Hoots.Came in a standard pint a copper color with a nice tight white head atop.Aromas were lighter with some caramel and biscuit notes,mild leafy hops underneath.Biscuit malts on the palate with lighter caramel and earthy hops in the finish,quite dry.Not bad,it won't blow your socks off but it's nice version of the style,doesn't seem as big as it is.
