2024 canning; consumed on 10/20/2025
Pours a dense, oil-black body capped with a half-finger of dark khaki foam; mediocre head retention leaves a blank surface, barely perceptible collar, and no lacing present around the walls of the glass.
Aroma brings roasted peanuts and an overarching stroopwafel agenda, leaving threads of maple lingering to creamy peanut butter as the bouquet fades.
Taste opens with a pang of maple as a the sweetness expands to stroopwafel and denser caramel syrup over the mid-palate as cocoa residuals linger.
Mouthfeel features a fuller body and minimal carbonation, dispersing slick, sticky textures coating the palate before embracing a milder char on the back end.
Tempered peanut butter and diner maple syrup weave together a standard pastry complexion, overly sweet and marginally nuanced.

Poured a black body with minimal head and no lace. Aroma is strong of maple and reminded me of syrup covered french toast or waffles. Medium body, smooth, slightly lactic, get the peanut butter at times, but really get the maple and it’s a cloying, slow sipping beer with a touch of booze on finish.
