Thanks, Nick!
Was psyched to get this from Nick on a recent trip to Colorado Springs. Have pretty much liked (loved?) every beer I had from Odd13. This one was an American Pale Ale, but New England Style. Can on the back read, “Dirk Diggler is the winning entry from our homebrew competition with Lafayette Homebrew Supply. Travis Trembly created the recipe for this New England Style Pale Ale that features tons of Citra and Amarillo with just a touch of Centennial.” Was looking forward to it.
Poured a straw-to-pale hazy color with two fingers of frothy white head. Some slow-moving bubbles creeping up along the sides of the glass. Very good spotty lacing. Very good retention. (Sight - 3.75)
Smelled Amarillo from the get go and the relatable orange family. Orange juice, orange blossom, pineapple, floral, candied orange, dry-hopped Citra and even that dry Centennial late. Out of the can got even more pronounced flavors, including guava, mango and passion fruit. (Smell - 4.00)
Taste followed the nose, maybe even better. Pulpy orange juice, dried orange peel, passion fruit, orange creamscicle, Amarillo, dry-hopped Citra, guava, mango and hints of dry Centennial. (Taste - 4.00)
Medium body. Oily texture. Lively carbonation. Citrusy, juicy finish. (Feel - 4.00)
Another outstanding beer from Odd13. Would love to kill a 6-pack of this. (Overall - 4.00)

We love reviews (150 characters or more)! Check out: How to Review a Beer. You don't need to get fancy. Drop some thoughts on the beer's attributes (look, smell, taste, feel) plus your overall impression. Something that backs up your rating and helps others. Thanks!
