Since this is the latest "version" listed on BA, I'll review here, but I'm fairly certain that this brew is now just called Intergalactic Juice Hunter, and someone should probably make a page for that.
But not me, not today. I just want to write some stuff about it.
L: Pours with a beautiful hazy orange body, lookin just like some oddly fizzy yellow peach juice. Lots of sudsy off-white head created a lacing pattern that looks like a flying camel. And as usual, Odd 13's can art is on point.
S: I'd say the overall aroma is like a nice tart mango fro-yo. Passion fruit, pineapple, peach and pomelo aromas are also notable. A creamy lactose presence makes it clear that this is a milkshake IPA.
T: And easily the best one I've had to date. Pineapple, mango, pomelo and yellow grapefruit balance gently against the creamy lactose and oatmeal presence. Toward the end, a good dose of pine and lavender surprise the palate with bitterness, but the creaminess overpowers that again as the finish fades.
F: Just ridiculously smooth. This almost has the consistency of whole milk. A tiny tart bite follows each sip, making life a tiny bit better.
O: It's a tropical hop milkshake, man. Is this even beer??

Picked up a single from the Craft Beer Hop Stop cooler on 11-7-18 for $2.99. Canned on 10-16-18; consumed on 2-24-19. Cold stored since purchase. Using the 8.0 version as the description matches the description on the can.
Beer poured a cloudy golden orange with a beautiful white head that is leaving lacing behind.
Nose is a nice combination of orange, grapefruit, and mango.
Taste is a light to medium malt baseline which melds very nicely with the orange and mango. Finishes with a moderate citrus rind.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied and fairly refreshing.
Overall an enjoyable brew that i would have in the future.

12 oz. Can
Canned On: 07/17/18
4 Months On This Can!
Poured into a Trillium glass a pretty nice cloudy orangy color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which also leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, mango, peach, apricot), nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, mango, peach, apricot), nice little sweetness, nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV is hidden nicely, with a dry/bitter finish. Overall, still a pretty tasty brew after all those months. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake!

Thanks, Adam!
Tried this at our fourth annual MW bottleshare a few days before, giving it a 4.0 on Untappd. I do remember thinking that it would be somewhere in the 4.15 range. Generally a big fan of Odd13, averaging a 4.010 rating for their first 13 beers. Adam told me that this was 8.0, which wasn’t on Beer Advocate yet. I had previously given 3.0 a 4.16 and 4.0 a 4.05.
Can description read, “Intergalactic Juice Hunter is a double IPA designed to highlight galaxy and other juicy hops. Oats and lactose are added to create a thick mouthfeel.”
Poured a golden hazy color with 1-to-2 fingers of frothy white head. No noticeable bubbles coming up from the bottom of the glass. Excellent spotty lacing. Almost perfect retention. (Sight - 4.50)
Smelled Galaxy, trash, orange juice, peach, apricot, stone fruit and sugary caramel malt. If I had to guess the other hops I would say Amarillo and Motueka for two of them. More orange juice and peach from the can, along with the additions of guava and mango. (Smell - 4.00)
Tasted better than the nose with less trashy notes. Got pulpy orange juice, papaya, Galaxy, peach, apricot, stone fruit and nectarine. Guessing other hops would’ve been Amarillo, Simcoe and Motueka. (Taste - 4.25)
Medium body. Oily-to-creamy texture. Average carbonation. Juicy finish. (Feel - 4.25)
Damn. Even better than what I had at the share. Just a really good New England Style beer, despite the haze. (Overall - 4.25)
