A straw-colored farmhouse ale with a light and snappy mouthfeel accompanied by a manageable ABV. The nose is rustic with white pepper, citrus, and filled with fresh hay. Flavorful, yet crushable, this Old World style is a limited offering.

Penance, a grisette ale, was a limited bomber-only release, at the SoPro Taproom and subsequently, apparently, in limited local markets. Had poured from 22-oz. bomber into tulip.
White wine, light saison yeast and fruit, pilsner malt and a nice hop kick in the finish, this is an excellent take on the grisette.
