Got in a trade with The-Adjunct-Hippie. 12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned on 4/9/2018. Pours fairly hazy/cloudy deep golden amber color with a 2 finger fairly dense and fluffy white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Nice spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with a good amount of streaming carbonation retaining the cap. Aromas of lightly tart/tangy strawberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, red apple, peppercorn, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance and complexity of strawberries, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate bready malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lightly tart/tangy strawberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, red apple, peppercorn, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light funk, and yeast earthiness. Moderate peppery yeast spiciness, and light herbal/floral/grassy bitterness on the finish. Lingering notes of strawberries, fruit skin/seeds, lemon, orange, peach, pear, melon, red apple, peppercorn, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, white bread dough, light funk, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberries, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate bready malt flavors; with a great malt/spiciness balance, and no astringent flavors after the finish. Very crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from spiciness and carbonation. High carbonation and medium body; with a very smooth and moderately bready/grainy/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is fantastic. Zero warming alcohol as expected of 5.1%. Overall this is a delicious fruited saision! All around nice complexity, robustness, and balance of strawberries, fruity/spicy yeast, and moderate bready malt flavors; very smooth, crisp, clean, and refreshing to drink. Very flavorful and not watery for the ABV. Great balance of authentic strawberries and classic Saison yeast complexity; with a nice pale/wheat malt backbone, and a nearly bone dry finish from carbonation. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example.

12 oz can dated 4/14/18 purchased from Jackson MS poured into Calusa mini snifter.
Deep rich gold color with a fuzzy and busy 1 finger head.
Aroma is of strawberry fruit roll-up, and other strawberry candies...maybe some strawberry jam. Light grain presence hiding behind that.
Yeast pops out first in the profile, a good sign - peppery, some slight hay, farmhouse funk, a heavy grain profile, followed by polite strawberry bubble tape. Reminding me of a strong witbier quite a bit.
Feel is too carbonated to truly enjoy, it's very carbonated and painful in the gut. Slight dryness, other than that not much to remark on.
Overall a decent Saison that almost comes across as a fruit beer-meets-saison. Interesting trial. Would recommend at least once.

Has a slightly spicy saison yeast aroma to it with hints of overripe strawberry's. Flavor forward is a lightly sweet and faintly spiced strawberry flavor that is rolls subtly around the tongue but isn't overpowering, reminds me of a bit of spiced stewed strawberries or maybe strawberry compote. Light bodied with a bit of “soft” mouthfeel to it mild malt presence, very faint grain hint to it. Finish is fairly spicy with saison yeast, earthy almost musty with note of cloves, Szechuan peppercorns and green peppers that leaves a faint almost itchy feeling on the palate. Lightish bodied with a slightly above average carbonation. Pretty good overall but the light berry flavor forward and the spicy saison yeast notes on the back-end don't quite mesh up, leaving it a bit off.

This Strawberry Saison iteration of the Rotator Series is a complex but non-challenging easy drinker, with understated fruitiness from the added strawberries, which will appeal to many different tastes.

Very attractive red gold color with white cap.
The aroma is not intensely strawberry rather there's just enough to know it's in there.
Taste is very light at first then building into the medium range. Strawberry doesn't hit you so much as it just eases into the room and is there before you realize it. I get a mild wild yeast presence (don't really know if if it's wild or not, just my impression) that underscores and complements the strawberry flavor.
Medium texture and just a bit more carbonation than is needed.
For a summery Radler style beer it ain't bad. Very pleasant, almost unassuming flavor that comes across as a friendly refresher.

Had my doubts about this ale, but I grabbed it when I saw that there was only one sixer left on the shelf. Very pleasant offering. Has all the saison characteristics that I like. Nice funky attributes with a not too sweet strawberry jam accent. Would pair well with a strawberry spinach salad or a chicken breast salad with strawberry vinegrette. Thumbs up. Down the hatch !

I love these guys so I had to give this one a shot eventhough fruit beers aren't really my thing, I do love a good saison.
L -Pours a beautiful strawberry red color with a 2 finger cap
S- strawberry fruit and saison yeast
T - Labeled as a fruit ale this one has the saison yeast flavor and it comes off fruity without being cloyingly sweet. Very light and flavorful and no tart/sourness which is good IMO .
O - It's worth a try for the non fruit beer folks.
