We present you a cult classic of sorts . . . Soul Glo. Reimagined and repacked, the 2023 version stays true to its roots while leaving enough room for some new expressions. Perfect blend of funk and citrus with a dry finish. Long Live Saison.

Soul Glo 2023 was released in early May 2023 as a seasonal in 12-oz. can 6-pks. Had on 06/26/2023 poured from 12-oz. can, bottom stamped "04/28/23" (apparently) indicating it was on that date "canned by DARBY," into oversized wine glass.
Pours deep, old gold, with 1-finger, creamy off-white head, with excellent retention, leaving some splotchy lace down the glass. Aroma of sweet citrus off pour, which continues, with moderate Belgian yeast spice and floral aromas, joined as warms by a little funky melon and herbal bite. On tasting, begins with mild (but growing) Belgian yeast spice and moderate melon, then a little sweet citrus, all over a silky smooth body, with a bit of mild malt evident, then a little grapefruit, carrying into a moderately spicy, drying yet silky finish.
Not surprisingly, lacking the depth of flavor of the 8.40 ABV Soul Glo OG, but an excellent, fruity saison with a remarkably silky body.
