Purchased as a single can from Kroger for $2.17. Poured into a tulip glass.
L - Pours a slightly hazy pale yellow, with - I shit you not - a gigantic six-finger foamy ivory head that lasts the entire length of the session. I had an extremely difficult time trying to pour this and not get a giant head but after ten minutes, it was finally poured. It made me laugh pretty hard.
S - Mild funk, wheat, and toasted biscuit. An almost freshly-cut grass note at the end.
T - Funky wheat, hay, and a slight metallic taste that I blame on the can. Slight oak and cedar. Mild and malty, with a base funk that isn't overwhelming. White grape finish.
F - Chewy. Mild carbonation. Medium body. Light finish.
O - An overall satisfying beer that can pair very well with virtually anything. Would purchase again if it wasn't a retired beer.

Let's put Table in the context of how I know Une Annee'.
I shy away from their Wilds (drank only 1) and those outside of the Belgian tradition (1 RIS.) So, let's say I'm a traditionalist.
However more than the other two traditions, Belgians are for the Table. So I surmise, Une Annee' is thinking they are ready to compete with the masters... with a slightly Wild twist. And Une Annee' proves they are ready.
Table is subtle. Like a good table ale, it does not try to do too much. It offers up a modestly malted ale with only a tiny touch of tart. It does not try to overpower the food. It tries to get along... instead of getting too Wild and making a mess of the meal... as so often happens in Wild-land.
Tonight, I had Table with pesto out of the jar. Table did not make the pesto better, but it let me enjoy the dish. Many pestos have a lemon tang and Table will pair with those. To determine if Table has the versatility of a really good saison, I still need to try it with other foods.
I have only 7 ales now from Une Annee' and feel I should be more supportive of aspiring masters in my own backyard. What usually happens is that I re-taste their ales. And I intend to do that with Table.
12/3/20 Finally saw Table again. Bought a 4-pack. And it was good enough with winter fare (sweet potatoes), but not good enough to drink all 4. I'm giving two away to the nephews for Christmas and am keeping count over at UnTappd.
