Poured from 22oz bomber into a dimpled mug.
Appearance: murky medium-brown hue with a finger of fizzy tan foam atop. Not much head retention; it's a little bizarre but I'll allow it.
Smell: earthy with a decent blueberry aroma. The fruit smells very natural, although the saison element doesn't really come through. Not bad, but not outstanding.
Taste: a little bit of farmhouse funk and a very light butteriness surround the blueberry, which is a bit milder in the flavor than in the aroma. Definitely more of a saison here, or perhaps a bière de garde; it's earthy and enjoyable.
Mouthfeel: light body with a big carbonation and a big, if evanescent, creaminess. I dig it the most.
Overall: a bizarre beer, to say the least. But it has certain appealing qualities.

Great beer, more licorice flavors when I had it on draft.

Pours a pale gold, no haze, with good lacing.
Smells like lemons and berries.
Taste is of citrus mixed with blueberry. Good mixture of sweet and tart. Not overly tart like some saisons I've had. Finishes with a sour note.
Mouthfeel is smooth and crisp. Easily drinkable. Crispness mellows fairly quickly though.
Not usually a big fan of saisons but this one was enjoyable.
