12oz can. Poured out a crystal clear, golden orange color with a small thin head of foam. It left minimal lacing. It smelled of crackers, caramel and grasses. Sweet caramel taste with a mild bitterness.

Amber gold color with quickly diminishing white cap.

Mild aroma of sweet malt and floral hops.

Taste is solid malt sweetness at first followed by a medium hop kick which remains riding over the malt to the quick, clean dry finish.

Medium texture with balancing carbonation.

For a food friendly Mexican style beer richer and and fuller than the average AAL.

DATE: July 27, 2025... OCCASION: returning from visiting with Bob, I turn to a book (Martyr!), a beer (this), and the backyard on a humid but not-quite-hot summer afternoon... GLASSWARE: Penn State pilsner... pours a lively yellow body roiling with varied sizes of bubbles, all building two fingers' worth of fluffy, snow-evoking head... wet hay, pungent earth, peppery herbs, and gentle noble hops make for a light, grainy aroma... first pull is thin, refreshing but fleeting... frothy at the teeth and oily at the throat... the palate is appropriate for summer midday sipping... biscuit, light pepper, lemon, nut, and soft herbs (basil?) make this an agreeable experience, one that puts the sweat back in the body with minimal effort... I picked this up as part of a Wiseacre mix pack right outside Gatlinburg... at 99 calories, you could get less flavor elsewhere, and if this if the goal is counting, then this is a success... overall, not one that I will return to, unless I return to Tennessee....
