Can to lager glass.
The appearance was a bronzed golden color with a slight transparency about it. A two finger white foamy rocky head sat atop and really took its time to dissipate. Once it did, some messy lace caked itself to my glass.
The aroma had some grassy to citrusy hops up front with some rind-like bitter qualities coming about. Subtle biscuity lager yeasty whiffs came out underneath.
The flavor leaned towards the sweet side initially but developed some bitter cirrusy rind character with some warmth. Bitter citrusy aftertaste with some rind and biscuity malt (not so much yeasty character here).
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a good in between quality of being a sipper and being sessionable. Some hop abrasion clings to my tongue. Finishes with some grassy hoppiness.
Overall, pretty good IPL I'd have again.

From the 16 oz. can dated 06/14/19. Sampled September 21, 2019.
Slightly murky looking golden pour with a long lasting ivory white head. Lacing.
It is over three months old so some of the characters may have faded. But I still pick up a floral and earthy hop character along with a white bread malt sensation. But it is an IPL not an IPA so this is to be expected.
Smooth, medium mouthfeel.
Bready sweetness to start and a low to moderate profile herbal and earthy hop finish.

Can. Gold with slight chill haze dense head and lace. Grassy aroma with hints of citrus. Medium light crackery cereal sweetness with medium citrus and herbal bitterness in dry finish. Light and lively. Excellent.
