Refreshing.
Must make the obvious comment that BA should have this in the Bohemian Pils style. No time to quibble. But a brewer with Czech in its name and this is its only pils and GG Patton is darker and breadier than the typical Bavarian pils. But, I defer.
I'm also not going to give GG Patton points for good Looks; not crystal clear; some foam, but not lasting.
Smells are a bit more characteristic, just mild; not real grassy. Tastes get more interesting with the addition of a lemon zest and more sweet malt. It finishes semi-dry, but has this metallic or mineral residue that interferes with a clean finish.
My first from Evil Czech. They seem to be bringing brewpub culture to Mishawaka ... which is a good thing. But I have lived less than two hours from there for many decades, so I am unlikely to visit.

16oz can courtesy of that unrepentant porch bomber, ovaltine. No freshness date, but there is a stamp near the bottom, "curb your pilsner." Alrighty, then. There's also a quotation from ol' Blood & Guts that happens to mention the town of Pilsen (or Plzeň, depending on how you roll), that I desperately hope is true, cuz it's bad-ass, but I also can't help but giggle at, having read (and heard on YouTube) what George S. Patton's voice actually sounded like (Spoiler Alert: it was pretty far from George C. Scott). I also can't help but think Evil Czech could do an imperial pilsner as a collaboration with a punk record label that could be called GG Allin.
But I digress...
Poured into the Evil Czech dimpled mug that accompanied this beer, this was a mostly clear color that was somewhere between copper and gold. Thin, white head that dropped swiftly, but was easily agitated back to life. Spotty lace.
Fairly restrained nose, and mostly malty, what's there.
More interesting in the taste. Herbal, slightly lemony hoppiness, with a slightly medicinal background taste and a crackery malt backbone. The maltiness is a little too broad to my way of thinking for the style, but it's not to the point of being a deal breaker. Mildly dry finish, along with a slightly mineraly tang.
A little north of light bodied, but not distractingly so. For a pils of this strength, I'd say it's about right. Not quite as crisp as I prefer in a pils, again, probably on account of being over 5 1/2 % alcohol.
Easily the best beer I've had that's named after a WW2 general! Having said that, it falls short for me on account of my personal preferences for the style, which tend to lean towards lighter bodied, and a little bit lower alcohol content. Still, I'd enjoy this when in the mood for a pilsner, a style I've come to appreciate, and that not so many craft brewers in this country have the balls to attempt. Thanks, Mike!

Bought a 4pck of this from the brewery. It poured a hazy yellow with white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent had hints of grass...almost gin like. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink. Smoother than a becks. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a solid pilsner.

Slightly hazy, translucent golden brew. Nice firm white head. Nice retention and lacing.
Lovely pils aroma: crisp and fresh, with bright grassy hops and a biscuity, slightly sweet malt presence. Invites you in with just a touch of floral notes.
Flavor follows: plenty of malt, decent bitterness, flowery hops, grainy Pilsner malts. Bready and biscuity, with touches of earth and pepper.
Slightly thick feel for a pils, but lively, refreshing, and drinkable.
