16oz can served in a pint glass. Dated 10/31/2018. Gift from @mr-jj.
Pours a moderately hazy amber gold color with a smallish head and medium carbonation. Smell is mild guava.
Taste is more of the same. Not bad, not exciting.
Mouthfeel is thick and still. Overall, it's not bad. Fruity, lacking hop bite.

The dots on the bottom of the can are all messed up and it just says "DRINK FRESH"
Appearance: The body has this nice beige color that is not only opaque but looks more solid than a gemstone. There really isn't any head at all. There is some froth that appears while pouring but it quickly fades in favor of a few bubbles a la juice. If anyone saw this in a glass they would probably think it was fresh squeezed grapefruit juice.
Aroma: As soon as the can is cracked there is this grassy hop aroma that comes out. Closer inspection yields a massive hop aroma which screams of tangerine and mango. It nearly immolates the nostrils with hop scent. There is the scent of alcohol but it is buried within this juicy tangerine and grapefruit aroma. There a soft aroma of what smells like gummy peach rings. It's an odd mix of aromas but it is intoxicating and it is strong enough to make you sit for a long time and think about what you are smelling. In the end that is what matters.
Taste: Up front there is this under-ripe mango and pineapple flavor.
Mouthfeel: Is there carbonation in this beer? It feels too flat, even for the expectation of a New England Style IPA. It also doesn't feel quite as smooth.
Overall: I've had quite a few New England Style IPA's in Virginia and most of the time they fall short. This one doesn't quite hit the mark but it gets very close in the aroma and semi-close in the flavor departments. Unfortunately it falls flat on its face in the mouthfeel and appearance. There is far to little carbonation and the beer has no head to speak of. I would still recommend giving the beer a shot because it's one of the few in VA that comes close to the real style.
