Can't remember how I obtained this as this was right around the time that Grimm's new facility opened up in Williamsburg. Canned on 6/25/18 with "KEEP COLD DRINK NOW" written underneath that, this had a lot going on but was just a bit too strong for me to fully embrace. Regardless of that, this was a worthy brew for Grimm to inaugurate their new brewery with as it held up well over the last year and a half!

Hazy, cloudy, and gold - this pour was typical but typical as well because it's not what I'm accustomed to from Grimm. Topped off with a lovely head and wondrous rings of lacing, this was a serious beer from the get-go. Initially light like Grimm's other offerings, there were lots of flavors to be had here because of it's hop profile. Weed, deep forest, rice grain, and pungent Sorachi could be detected on the nose as the taste was a mixture of deep hops, strong dankness, and ripe tropical fruit combined for a deeply varied taste that lingered on the palate long after each sip went down. Cantaloupe and kiwi stood out to me as this was quite zesty and full on the mouthfeel, as bread and potato chips rounded out the full mouthfeel.

Enough booze was in this to be felt but it took a backseat to everything else that was going on here. I'm normally not a fan of beers that contain five hops in them but somehow, too many cooks did not spoil this broth. Fans of Grimm *might* be taken back by what went on here as this wasn't on par with their usual fare. Full and full-flavored, this was a lovely beer that had plenty of melon and dank aftertaste to easily be confused with a New England IPA. This was enjoyable and easily worthy of the opening of Grimm's new home in Brooklyn!

Poured a cloudy orange body with good head and lace patches down the glass. Clean, citric type aroma with bits of zesty hops and grapefruit. Fuller body, a tad heavy, has a spicy/dirty hoppiness with a balance of grapefruit/tangerine sweetness and real easy to drink.

Can dated 6/25/18 opened on 7/25/18
1.5 finger head in a Teku
Pours deep golden color. Hazy. Opaque.
Light nose of candied grapefruit and alfalfa
Full mouthfeel Great carbonation. Grassiness comes through with a moderate bite that is overtaken by citrus and stone fruit. A backbone of bready malt gives solid balance to this beer.
Sadly, this was my last can. A top notch offering from Grimm.
