A: The beer is clear amber in color and has a light to moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge of the glass and a patch of bubbles on the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of spices are present in the nose - those from Belgian yeast stand out in particular.
T: The taste follow the smell and has some peppery spice-like flavors of Belgian yeast with strong underlying notes of caramel and pale malts.
M: It feels nearly medium-bodied on the palate and has a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This saison is quite malty and spicy, making for a nice wintertime ale.
