Pours cloudy dark orange color with a foamy 2 finger thick head that faded slowly and left excellent rings of lacing. Smells of orange juice, grapefruit, graham cracker, mild booze, biscuit, papaya and brown sugar. Very sweet aroma overall, with the ABV coming through the citrus notes.
This brew comes out aggressive and even though it’s quite hoppy, the boozy aspects never let up. Like the nose it’s sweet overall with orange juice, ripe red grapefruit, tangerine, lemon zest, graham cracker, tropical fruit, mild booze, biscuit, papaya and brown sugar. The fruity sweetness seems like Razzles that dissolved in a triple IPA. It’s not the smoothest beer from Grimm, but it was good enough to enjoy.

6/22/2022 can from the brewery in Brooklyn. Pours a a hazy dark yellow golden with a finger of pancake batter bubbly white head that sticks around, decent lacing; smell is dank underripe/ green citrus, orange juice concentrate, cranberry cotton candy, mango, papaya, hints of graham cracker, yellow cake and frosting; taste is green citrus, tropical donut, tropical fruit nectar, pulpy orange juice, underripe cantaloupe, hints of yellow cake with vanilla frosting and boozy citrus pith; feel is full bodied, creamy carbonation, mildly dry. A jungle juice of tropical fruit, citrus, and sweet treats.

One of the best beers I’ve tasted from Grimm. Very smooth MF for an IPA, pine and lots of fruit. Excellent hop profile.

A: The beer is very hazy and a bit murky yellow in color. It poured with a short white head that left a thin collar around the edge and some delicate wisps of lacing on the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of gooseberries, honeydew melon, mango and pine are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell and also has a light to moderate amount of bitterness.
M: It feels a bit more than medium-bodied and crisp on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation. There is a touch of stickiness in the finish.
O: This beer has a lot of interesting complexities in the smell and taste. It's definitely a beer to sip and savor given the strength.
