Blending barrel-aged saison racked onto second-use local Balaton cherries. Soft and complex with a cherry-forward and satisfyingly wild.

500 ml bottle into a tulip glass. Had 8/10/23.
Pours a beautiful lighter cherry color, fairly clear on the first pour, cloudy on the second. Has a one and a half inch foamy head with good retention and a decent amount of foamy lacing. Active carbonation. Aromas of cherry, oak, funk- mellows as it warms, some wheat, light yeast, light vanilla. Flavors of cherry, yeast, funk- again, mellows as it warms, malt, oak, some wheat, a little vanilla. Tastes a little earthy and a touch herbal. Smooth, fairly dry, a very good lighter medium body, well carbonated.
Really enjoyable. The cherries are bright and prominent, the oak really comes through when it warms up. Has a solid saison base, too. Would buy this again.
