A “modern West Coast IPA” synthesizing the lean, dry and bitter West Coast style with the fruit-forward hop expression found in the Northeast. Brewed with a clean and neutral yeast strain, Longitude pours with just a light sheen of chill haze and abundant green and citrusy hop aromas. I wasn't sure what a "modern" West Coast IPA is, but Grimm's description is apt. This is delicious and surprisingly refreshing for the amount of hop character it has. I don't really find the bitterness there, but that could be my palate. I'm not complaining though. Grimm continues to make outstanding beer.
