Pours a clear toasted amber, fluffy 1.5" head with solid retention and very good lacing. Nose is dark fruit, light caramel, floral hop, alcohol, metallic. Taste is rather bitter - earthy, bitter hop, dirt, baby aspirin. Not much sweetness despite nose and color. Feel is crisp when at fridge temp but becomes much more creamy as it nears room temperate; very much preferred warmer. Worth seeking out if not put off by its almost astringent bitterness.
