Wood smoke, peppery spice, salt, and earthy hops characterize this revivalist session ale. A specialty beer inspired by the Polish town of Grodzisk Wielkopolski, it finishes malty and slightly sour. Great as a unique stand-alone or as an accompaniment to any of our wood-fired pizzas.

Light lemon color with a 3F head.
Light smoky aroma. I wanted to compare it to a Schlenkerla-
But it’s a totally different style. The latter is amazingly smoky,
and this beer is light, smoky and a Polish style.

Slightly bitter, easy to drink. Even though it’s 3.8% ABV,warming brings out the flavor.

Can date missed the can so unreadable
Pours a large 2 finger frothy head with med retention, a touch of lacing, semi clear slight hazed light pale color

Nose brings light smoke, a mild fruit and oaky like smoke, with a little lemon balm and fruity notes, very light cracker malt and wheat

Taste brings mild grainy malt with a little cracker and creamy wheat, fair smoke, a light campfire as well as oaky smoke, a little fruity as well with again a hint of a lemony note, some generic fruity ester notes, balanced with a bit of bitterness late, drier finish, more light wheat and doughy lemony notes, then a real earthy dirt kinda taste lingering

Mouth is lighter bod but a little creamy wheat note, med-lighter carb

Overall not bad, an interesting style of beer, easy drinking but plenty of smoke flavor that doesn't overpower, light fruity notes, interesting but not one I'd drink much of

Crowler shared by someone Friday night, thank you anonymous BFD'er.
Dark brown in color with a smallish off white head. Big smoky earthy yeasty nose. Flavor is what the nose promised. Big campfire wheat and yeasty earthy flavors. Little to no hop flavor or aroma. Light easy to drink but a bit to heavy on the smoke for my tastes.
