Pouring a pale copper hue, this unfiltered lager features Weyermann’s heirloom Isaria Pilsner Malt. Made from Germany’s oldest barley variety, Isaria contributes rare depth and malt sweetness. German Tettnanger and Amira hops lend a nuanced, herbaceous hop character.

On tap at the immaculately cozy second floor bar. Terrific after Erastus.

This one pours a nice golden orange color, clear and delicious looking, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like crusty sourdough, biscuit, honey, and soft floral and herbaceous hop character.
This is stupendous – it tastes young for sure, with a doughy and minerally character to it. The hop character is there, not in a sharp spicy bite, but a soft, earthy, and herbaceous manner.
This is super crisp, but soft, and just stupidly drinkable.
There’s just too much to like here – Schilling is basically unstoppable.

Cloudy orange body, finger of white foam, spotted lacing. Smells of crusty bread, lemon zest, leafy and grassy hops, slight multivitamin, and sweeter malt. Taste has brown crusty bread, lemon peel, grassy and earthy hops, with a whisper of dark grain. Feel is bready and yeasty, with decent hop bitters and botanicals, dry earth is a lasting impression. The wife liked it

Pours a let shade of copper, mostly clear but with a light chill haze; head is lightly dirty white, collapses slowly and cohesively, settling to a nice thin film.
The nose is quite aromatic; a light mix of herbal, but floral leaning hops greet first; toast; bread crust; rustic sort of grain bread vibe, just lovely.
The taste brings most of the same, however, the malt driven notes shine more; the hops shift noticeably and contribute a lightly spicy character, that ends grassy quality.
The mouthfeel is light and incredibly clean; there is a firm biting, yet restrained bitterness that really shines on the finish, sip disappears instantly from the palate.

Canned about a week ago, I am digging this one WAY more than I thought based on description. Gorgeous pour, incredible balance of delicious lightly toast malts. Crazy quaffable with enough hop to keep the palate wanting more. Wow. Closing in on my 30th beer from these folks and another banger here for sure.
