Hälfte is a modern dry hopped Edel-Pils brewed in collaboration with Other Half of Brooklyn, NY. Kettle-hopped with Hallertau Mittelfrüh and German Saaz and dry hopped with Saphir, Hälfte marries the floral character of Hallertau Mittelfrüh and Saaz with the citrus and berry notes of Saphir. Pale yellow with white foam, it finishes clean and crisp with dry hop character and a hint of bitterness.

Appearance: Arrives clear and golden with a two finger head; decent retention and spotty lacing
Smell: Grassy with bready undertones; some sulfur
Taste: Bready and grassy flavors forward with some sulfur in the mix; crisp finish
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: A statement German pilsner from a brewery that knows its way around the European styles

No can date
Pours a fizzy 1 finger head with moderate retention, crystal clear med gold color
Nose lots of pilsner malt, decoction mash depth, straw, cereal, grainy sweet doughy, floral herbal sight grassy hop
Taste hops kick in quickly, herbal grassy, little fruity berry and citrus kinda thing, fruity pebbles cereal also part from the pilsner malt, cereal, straw, grain, malt layers like decoction, little doughy malt, dry slight crisp finish with med to a bit higher spicy grassy hop lingering
Mouth med bod, soft lager, med to higher frothy slight prickly carb
Overall a nice German pilsner as expected

Can. Golden straw with head and lace. Very fresh grassy wet leaves aroma. Grainy medium light sweetness. Very fresh tasting finish with a little fruitiness, which I guess is the novelty. Light body. Perfect carbo. I prefer traditional German pils, but this is very good. Finish is a little weird.
