Can into Pint Glass
Look: Cloudy yellow-gold body, pouring a frothy two finger head which quickly dissipated to a lingering cap
Smell: Toasted, and very nutty malt. Touch of caramel in there. Have some yeast funk in there and a light touch of citrus. Medium strength
Taste: Toasted malt mingling with a bright citrusy note. Swallow brings sweet caramel, nutty (almonds, peanuts and sunflower butter?) malt, and some herbally hops. Followed by some yeast barnyard, and the hops becoming more earthy and bringing in a little bitterness. Finish carries that bright lemon citrus note as that malt flavor becomes something like a cheap white bread flavor
Feel: Medium light body, moderate carbonation, bright yet, dry finish
Overall: Good brew overall. I think its relatively true to its style, bringing some unfiltered funk and a strong toasty malt punch with a light bitterness

Can. Bright gold with very slight haze and lasting small head and lace. Mild herbal aroma. Delicious grainy medium sweetness. Finishes quite dry and soft woody herbal. Medium light body. Very smooth like natural carbo. Excellent.

A fairly unimpressive mediocre offering by an otherwise respectable brewery.
The style is known for its unfiltered look and grainy taste. Schilling made a very much filtered plain jane brew. It'd probably taste fine chugged on a hot summer day. It was boring when sipped in January.
