Czech Black Lagers are a sudden rage, and I find something new in black body beers all the time. No exception.
a) More of a cola, week coffee color that flattens.
s) ROAST, coffee, caramel, floral, nutty.
t) Follows nose gets more astringent in a good way. Toasted dark grain bread, nut bread, hops enter with grass and herbs. f) Light bodied, smooth and velvety feel. Slightly sweet. 4.5%. Thinnish finish.
o) Coolship Lager is my 1st choice in this category, also check out Carton Reitgarte.
