A small-batch specialty lager inspired by the Czech tradition of brewing festive lagers for the holidays. Featuring a deep copper hue, its aroma combines spicy and floral hop notes with hints of honey and biscuit malt. Flavors of fresh-baked bread and candied ginger shine through, complemented by a medium body and a crisp, dry finish.

Fantastic beer. Bottom of the can says 11/19/25 (assuming that's MM/DD/YY). Drinking it 01/08/26 straight out of the can (sorry, bartenders). The first sip strikes the perfect balance between sweet malt and bitter hop. There's a toasted brioche quality to it. It's creamy, but not in a thick cloying way that you can get with darker beers.

You know those beers marketed "it's just a beer that tastes like beer"? This is the beer you hope to get when you crack one of those open, but somehow never do.

On tap at Proletariat in Manhattan, NY.

This one a light golden amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.

This smells quite toasty, and pretty nutty, with a slightly spicy but light hop character.

Czech ambers are a forgotten style in the US, but of course Schilling has nailed one. It’s wonderfully malty, with a festive toasty and nutty character, with a just a hint of spicy hop character.

This is quite creamy, and dangerously drinkable.

This is definitely one of the best Czech ambers I’ve had, and I’m not surprised it would come from Schilling.

A seasonal limited edition Czech-style festive/holiday lager.

Pours a gorgeous copper color, letting a potent sourdough aroma tempt your nostrils.

Quite malty at first, this brew hits the palate with a mix of moderately rich hop and ginger notes.

A fantastic beer for the Fall season.
