Blackish brown mostly opaque boy save the edge, oatmeal colored head. Aromas of darker baker's chocolate, roasted malt, and charred earth. Taste is shortlived and kind of bland, a shock for schilling! Roasted malt, earth, cocoa and a hint of hop on the finish, but nothing is complex or deep. Feel while roasty and gentle is thin and airy, but bland for the style, verging on dry watery territory

From Beer Drop, 00433 stamped but I don't know what that means.
It pours a dark amber brown with a large head of off white foam. Retention and lacing are very good.
The smell is roasted malt, cocoa, a little bit nutty, has some hop bitterness.
The taste matches the smell with the roast tasting somewhat on the burnt side. Which is fine.
Overall mouthfeel is fine.
I would drink this again.

This one pours a golden dark-ish amber color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
There’s a nice toastiness on the nose, with some light milk chocolate, and roasted malt.
This is a half dark lager, so it’s not quite as chocolatey and creamy as some of them can be. But it substitutes that for a more complex malt character – chocolate, bittersweet caramel, toasted bread, maybe even some rye, with a very, very light hop bitterness on the finish that brings you back for the next sip.
This is light bodied, creamy, and luxuriously drinkable, especially for the style.
I can most certainly get behind this one.
