Pours a fizzy bubbly 1 finger head with fair retention, a touch of lacing, clear deep honey golden pale color
Nose brings a nice rounded smoke, like smoked meat or cheese, a hint of campfire and fruity smoke, sweet cornbread note, mild cereal grainy malt, grist
Taste brings more mild smoke, very mild on the smoke, like campfire the day after it was put out, mild woody smoke, some fruity notes, a bit of cornmeal and grainy malt, cereal, cornbread biscuits, light herbal hop with light bitterness, soft lager notes, dry finish
Mouth is med to a bit lighter bod, med carb
Overall not bad, very light beer overall especially for a smoked beer, but good character and unique

16 oz can.
Pours a cloudy amber gold color with a large soapy off-white head. Pretty good retention. Leaves a good bit of sticky lacing before settling into a thin cap.
Aromas of smoked ham, wood, sweet doughy malt, and grass.
Tastes like ham. Ham beer. Pork. Ok. Sweet corn, honey, cracker malt, faint citrus and grass. Spicy hops on the finish.
Medium-light bodied with lively carbonation. Prickly. Clean and dry.
Overall this is a solid smoked lager. Definitely needs a bit more balance, as the smokey flavor dominates everything else rather than complimenting it. Drinkable.
