A: Poured into a tulip glass to a fairly hazy golden orange beer which is topped by a dense and slightly rocky finger of white head which fades slowly to a collar around the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of cherries, vanilla, peaches, sourness and a hint of cinnamon with a little oak
T: Taste is sour cherries and peaches up front with some smooth vanilla and oak along with some warming cinnamon. On the finish there's sourness up front followed by more cherries, peaches, oak, vanilla, and cinnamon.
M: This beer has a moderate amount of body with a slightly creamy feel on the palate. Carbonation is effervescent and adequate for the style while the beer has a drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall this is a great beer. Really nice flavors and complexity make this a really fun beer to drink.

Bottle. Peach color with haze. White head.
Very similar to the base beer but with cherry. It doesn’t overpower which is nice. The peach and vanilla are really nice and the cinnamon shows as it warms. Lightly tart. Very drinkable.

2018 bottle into tulip.
A: Pours a clear apricot color with an inch of short lived off white foam. Slight ruby hue to the beer.
S: Cherry juice, vanilla, and peach stand out along with musty dampness and a bright tart acidity. Hints of spicy cinnamon and earthy funk.
T: Follows the nose with sweet cherry juice up front followed by stone fruit, vanilla and musty wood/grains. The cinnamon comes out in the finish along with a more syrupy cherry flavor that carries into the aftertaste.
M: Medium-full body, slick up front with a dry and crisp finish. Tingly fuzzy carbonation. Acid is there but tartness isn’t biting.
O: I love the concept of experimenting with previous beers to see if how new ingredients can affect the flavor profile. I personally thought the original was perfect, but the cherry adds another layer of complexity to the fruit profile.
