A: Poured into a tulip glass to a clear straw yellow beer which is topped by a dense and slightly fuffy finger and a half of rocky white head which fades slowly to a collar around the edge of the glass with minimal lacing
S: Smells of faded dry hops with some lemony tartness and citrus
T: Taste is lemony tartness up front with some nice citrus notes, a little tartness as well along with a touch of oak along with some slight peppery yeast notes. On the finish there's more lemony tartness and citrus with some more faded dry hops and oak.
M: This beer is on the lighter side of things but it is not watery. Carbonation is effervescent and adequate for the style while the beer has a drying finish due to the acidity.
O: Overall this is a really nice beer with some great flavors and a nice amount of complexity. It's held up well to the age.

2018 bottle into tulip.

A: Pours a chalky pale wheat color with a couple fingers of frothy white head that slowly faded into a bubbly collar. Soapy lace.
S: Perfumey, fragrant, hop nose with notes of grapefruit, mandarine orange, honey, and melon. Slight musty, creamy/pineapple brett as well.
T: Follows the nose with hoppy citrus and melon notes up front followed by ripe pineapple, musty earth, and grassy bitterness. Aftertaste has notes of the crackery grainy notes. Hint of bubble gum.
M: Light body, low acidity, fairly soft carb, just a kiss of musty funk, and a earthy bitter quality. No real tartness or sourness.
O: Reminds me of bitter monk, one of my favorite all time beers, but a lighter thinner version. Great brett/hop combination. The light base beer grain profile let’s everything else shine.
