Grumbler pour into a snifter.
A: Pours a hazy light copper orange with a white head sitting on top. Can just get a bit of visible carbonation when held up to the light. Leaves some spots of lacing on the sides of the glass.
S: Belgian yeasty aroma upfront that blends with a fruity aspect. Malts add some sweetness to the mix. More of the grainy farmhouse comes out as it warms up.
T: Nice blend going on here. There is quite a mix of malt and yeast with a mild hop bitterness in the background. The malts in this are what really give it that harvest like flavor. Fresh grain like qualities. A bit of sweetness on the backend from the yeast.
M: Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Low carbonation, at least in this pour. A bit sticky on the finish.
Overall not sure if this is a lingering batch from the fall harvest but I remember this being better a couple months ago. The grain qualities are great but something fermentation wise seems off.
