A pale golden beer with a moderately hazy. Produces two fingers of rocky white head from a moderate pour and leaves a fine lacing on the glass.
A medium black pepper aromas dominate with a hint of that vanilla character you find in peppercorns. There is a moderate light colored fruit flavor supports along with a Pils like sweetness. A light earth hops aroma in the background.
The flavor is a balance between light colored fruit, spice and the pils malt softness. There is a light honye-like sweetness mid palate but drying out in the finishing. The fruit is a yeast derived sort of an orange citrus flavor while the peppercorn addition if pleasantly complimentary to the yeast spice. The balance is moderately bitter with a light pepper aftertaste.
A medium-light bodied beer with a strong level of carbonation. There is a light creamyness to the body along with a slight astringency that is to be expected with the use of spices.
An impressive and lively Saison with a great balance that highlights the peppercorn, yeast and malt. There are black and pink peppercorn like flavors on a dry beer making for a very food friendly and vary taste ale.
