The appearance was a semi-bright amber to glossy orange color with a cap of a little white foamy head that slid off at a moderate pace. Not much lace, seemed sporadic/barely there.
The aroma had some rustic sweet grains, a light touch of rye, little bit of earthiness, some floral hop qualities and then a pop of lemon sweetness.
The flavor was moderately sweet brushing the grains into the floral hop and lemon sweet qualities. Light touch of grains in the aftertaste.
The mouthfeel was between light and medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt on par. Rustic grainy sort of finish.
Overall, its a decent saison that I think I could come back to.
