Thanks to Chris for sharing! Happy birthday buddy.
Bright gold with some champagne streamers, thin skim and spotty lace.
This was an interesting one, lots of earthy vegetal funk in the aroma, wet forest floor.
Kiwi wasn't really identifiable beyond a fruity tartness that could have easily been wild yeast or bugs.
Tart and citric, puckering and dry. Crabapples, dill, and funky wet wood. Light to medium bodied feel.
Overall this was very unique and interesting, glad to have finally tried Fonta Flora, and look forward to more.

A beautiful use of kiwis and possibly the best I've experienced.

An unmistakable aroma and taste of dill, cucumber takes the shine off this. It's not unpleasant, it's just odd. Granny smith apples, zippy acidity, a bit of malt but nothing really distinct. Finishes quite sweet. Look forward to trying others from FF.

Pale gold in color and fully transparent with a stark white cap of foam. Vinous, with a rather funky cider-like aroma; overripe kiwi and wet wood notes as well. There's no mistaking the wild ale here. Light- to medium-bodied with some sharp acidity up front that gradually softens into a more mellow tartness, and finally fruity tang. Flavors of Granny Smith apples, starfruit, and apple cider vinegar. A degree of sweetness to the finish, plus a suggestion of white wine grapes. In short, this beer is unabashedly sour. It's likely to impress tart beer fans, but will be too intense for most newbies. (Notes: bottle #676 of 744)
