Clearly infected. Nose of garbage. Taste not much better.

Traded for this one, excited to try this 96 bottle count rarity, with coconut (a favorite adjunct of ours).
Pours black, but somewhat translucent around the edges. Lingering tall pale head.
Aroma is roast, and a definitive aroma of BBQ smoke, which is fun. Some booze and wood.. and not the slightest hint of coconut. I search throughout my time drinking this, and never pick up even a hint of coconut. There's a spicy note though - must be the rye.
Taste is, again, devoid of any coconut. Fairly bitter, smoky, spicy and thin. Drinks like a 7.5% smoked beer - not a 10.6% imperial stout. Almost no sweetness, thickness or fruitiness. It's all smoky roast, with some wood/booze notes.
Didn't like this one much. Reminds me somewhat of BBPt5 -- but not as good. Thinner, harsher, spicier, smokier, less sweetness. We've stored this in a fridge since purchase, and it was released less than four months ago, but whatever coconut had been present at bottling is gone now. Still, the harshness and bitterness made me wish we'd cellared it another year or too. Drain poured the last third of my glass.
One bottle at least has been drunk of this. So 95 more bottles out there, I suppose.
