030620 2019 Vintage from Morganton. Bright strawberries and a nice tart pucker. Fairly dry making it go down a little quicker. Being mindful of this, take your time and let it warm a bit for a remarkable nose.

Drank 11/23/19 @ Golgi Apparatus.

A gorgeous pink hue on this one. A tart strawberry blast in the nose and on the palate; a bit one dimensional, perhaps, but if you like strawberries you won't mind a bit. Very, very good.

This is a strawberry Wild Ale, contrary to what the BeerAdvocate description says. It's really an awesome beer from a group that's doing it right. So lucky to have them so close to where I live. Can't wait to try some of their other offerings.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2017, yellow session. Aroma has apricot, peach and generic fermented fruits. Taste is sour, quite dry and puckering with fermented fruit flavors.

the few fruited wild beers i have had from these guys have been nothing short of absolutely sensational, and this is one of the best strawberry wild beers i have ever had, all famous hyped offerings included. if they made more of this, they would blow up, its insanely good. on tap at falling rock, who manages to keep it awesome pretty much all the time. pinkish in color, lively looking, somewhat cloudy, rustic in appearance. aroma is slightly medicinal, not the iodine bandaid thing from new or weird brett, but like a sharpness with the fruit, like a sterile purity or something, hopitaly but appealing, hard to describe obviously!!! both the aroma and the flavor of the fruit is incredible, like the little tiny wild ground strawberries that are a little tangy before they are so sweet and juicy, both elements at work here, and with the bacterial acidity and wild yeasty funk, the overall depth and complexity here is enormous. some concentrated preserves spread on toast kind of flavor here to the berries, but still so natural, a hard fruit to use well, and theyve done it, there must be a ton of them in here. i love the dry finish on it, the residual funk, the uniqueness of the wild profile, and the overall drinkability and intrigue this carries. outstanding beer, as good as any in its strawberry field...

Poured a pinkish haze. Smells like strawberry jam. Tastes of fresh strawberries, with a tartness that compliments the fruit flavor perfectly. The best tart beer I've ever had.

Pours a pale pink. Has a great aroma of strawberries and tartness. Tastes just like it smells. Perfect feel for the beer. Overall a great beer that I would order again without hesitation.

Copenhagen Beer Fest Boston. My favorite beer at the Fest. It was like a strawberry lambic. An amazing combination of sour, natural, authentic, and sweet strawberries. Great name too.

Appearance: Arrives with an pinkish amber hue and is capped by an inch or so of foam with strands of lacing left behind

Smell: Strawberry magnificence, with tart, funk and sweet elements

Taste: As in the aroma, the strawberry goest through a variety of elements, starting out sweet and jam-like and then funky and lactic; the funk and tart elements build, after the swallow

Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation

Overall: A really enjoyable beer; in NC, we already know how good this brewery is; beers like this will start to put Fonta Flora on the national map

This is super delicious, very pungent strawberry on the nose thats more prevalent with warming. It has quite a bit of body for a saison and really comes off more as a strawberry wild, obviously in a very good way as it is quite sour. Not light, a very amber color for a saison. A very nice offering, worth seeking out

Had this on draft at release day and loved it, but am now compelled to up my rating even higher after having opened one of the bottles. Tart strawberry jam for days and days, I wish my mouth had this taste permanently etched into my tastebuds.

Have had this on draft and out of the bottle. both are fantastic..

I'd let this warm up slightly as the strawberry becomes much more present. The beer smells like sticking your face into a basket of strawberries...similar to atrial-like levels for raspberries. There is a strong lemony tartness throughout, and the strawberries are always there in good measure. My favorite fonta flora Wild/sour/who cares what it's called so far.
