Copenhagen 14/2 2020. 47,3 cl can from Mikkeller Webshop. Drawing of strange green waves on the can. Looks like a cross between a pine forest and an ocean in turmoil.
Pours slightly unclear, golden yellow with some sediments whirling about. Big, bubbly white head. Settles as thin layer of foam covering the surface of the beer. Moderate lacing.
Aroma is intense, herbal and spicy with a touch of lemonade. Sweet pale malts. Cardamom, ginger and a light touch of anise. Light odor of lemon and sugar.
Light carbonation. Thin, oily, almost flat texture.
Flavor is medium sweet followed by a medium strong herbal, spicy bitterness. Aftertaste is sweet and a bit perfumed. lingers for a while.
More unusual than good. But lives up to the tagline. A little more Kölch and a little less herbal tea might have worked better for me.

A: Pours a clear golden copper in color with moderate amounts of active visible carbonation rising quickly from the bottom of the glass and moderate medium golden yellow + bright yellow + amber colored highlights. The beer has a two finger tall sudsy foamy off-white head that reduces to a medium to large sized patch of very thin film and a very thin ring at the edges of the glass. Light amounts of lacing are observed.
S: Just shy of moderate aromas of pale + bready + wheat + caramel malts with a very light amount of caramel sweetness and a moderate aromas of herbs + tea with light floral notes.
T: Upfront there are just shy of moderate flavors of pale + bready + wheat + caramel malts with a very light amount of caramel sweetness. That is followed by moderate flavors of tea and herbs. Finally there are light flavors of floral + earthy hops which impart a light amount of bitterness which slowly fades away leaving lingering herbal flavors.
M: Medium bodied with moderate amounts of carbonation.
O: Fairly easy to drink with well hidden alcohol. Enjoyable but the herbal aspects of the herbal tea blended with this Kölsch are a little too overpowering - definitely interesting but not sure that I would have another of these.
