thanks to nc41 for this one from his box during NBS BIF #8. !6oz can poured into 14oz teku. poured a moderately hazy (NOT turbid or muky) yellow-gold color with over an inch of almost off-white head that had good retention and lacing.
On the nose, the first thing was a slight sweetness, with some gentle, earthy base grains behind that. Pretty similar on the tongue; sweet, floral scents, with just enough malt to provide a counter point. The can says it was dry-hopped, but I'm not picking any real noticeable hops up.
The body is on the light side of medium, and finished semi-dry, which was a bit of a surprise. Drinkability was good, the beer smooth and easy to drink. Overall, a nice beer. Not really outstanding in any particular aspect, but interesting enough that I'd like to try it again. Worth a shot if you see it.
