Appearance: Arrives golden in color with a slight chill haze; the one finger head fades to a ringlet while leaving a nice pattern of lacing
Smell: Barnyard funk and grain
Taste: Crisp and tart from start to finish with a lemony aspect; funky elements spring forward to blend with some hoppy bitterness in the middle; the finish brings a slight pucker
Mouthfeel: Light to medium body with moderate to high carbonation
Overall: Here’s a beer that stretches the concept of a lager in the way I was hoping I would find more examples of when I went to Resident Culture’s lager festival a month or so ago - let’s see more of this
