750ml bottle poured into a tulip
A- pours thick and viscous jet black with just a razor thin head that has short retention
S- chocolate, marshmallow, vanilla, a hint of caramel
T- initial notes of caramel and toasted nuts up front, followed by notes of chocolate and oaky bourbon. The finish gives more chocolate and caramel, with oaky bourbon and a hint of vanilla on the linger
M- heavy body with moderate carbonation leads to a thick and chewy mouthfeel that continues into a warming chewy finish
O- a heavy and thick stout, the adjuncts are a bid hard to find at times

Appearance: Pours espresso brown with a fading tan film; leggy with spots of lace sticking
Smell: Dark chocolate and vanilla with toasted walnut tones
Taste: Dark chocolate with a touch of caramel forward; the vanilla builds, somewhat, as well; toasted walnut with a bit of nut skin bitterness, after the swallow
Mouthfeel: Full bodied with low to moderate carbonation
Overall: This Imperial Stout is thick and chewy but the toasted walnut flavor doesn't enhance the profile
