Cellared two years. Clear golden body, clean pour. Smell features the peach and yeast in a bright fashion. Taste add paw paw, pear, and lemon, refreshing. Sour finish with a hint of acidity defines the feel. Easy drinking and smooth, would be ideal on a late summer evening

Well done wild ale; not sure what Appalachian has to do with it, but that’s how they refer to it.
Poured pineapple yellow orange with scant off white head and no lacing.
The aroma reminded me of lemon drops- not lemon but the candy. Interesting.
The taste did have far more breadth with peach and pineapple merged in funkadelic sourness. Really tasty.
The feel was appropriate for the style, not too thick or thin.
Definitely glad to have been able to try this!

Appeareance: Pours a slightly hazy lemonade color with a one finger head; splotches of lace
Smell: Tart and funky, with peach and paw paw tones
Taste: Peach flavors forward with the tart element building; the paw paw adds some depth but is harder to discern; funky, through the middle, with a puckery finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation
Overall: Originally brewed for AWAS in 2017, it is good to see this one return to be a regular in the fruited sour rotation
