Pours a clear orange with short-lived, fizzy white head. Aroma is mostly musty funk with non-specific fruit lurking beneath (pawpaw?). While that fruit was subtle on the nose, it's anything but on the tongue. The pawpaw really shines here. The sweetness complements the funk, with the grapes adding a subtle vinous element to the experience. Light bodied with relatively low carbonation.
Overall, very tasty, unique beer. Big fan of the pawpaw.

Appearance: Pours a clear orange blossom honey color with a small head that dissipates quickly; no lacing action
Smell: Scuppernog grape with undertones of paw paw; tart and slightly funky with traces of the sweet fruit
Taste: Acetic tartness at the outset with growing fruity sweetness as hints of scuppernog and paw paw develop; acetic finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with low carbonation; so puckery the lack of carbonation doesn't matter
Overall: Fonta Flora's fruited sours typically have more fruit and less acidity than this beer and, given the natural sweetness of scuppernog grapes, I was surprised that there wasn't more sweetness to balance the acidity
