500ml bottle. Label has this information: 'BATCH #4 BOTTLED JULY 2023'.
Mostly clear for clarity, and then gets cloudy with more bottle being emptied, cherry red colored body. Brief lasting head with the pour. No lacing.
Aroma is subdued, with smells of funk (horse blanket), oak, raspberry, and a whiff of cherry.
Taste is both sweet and tart, with flavors of raspberry, oak, and a bit of cherry. Cherry emerges more in the aftertaste. Grassy and hay funk. Bitterness is low.
More than medium mouthfeel. A little sticky but ultimately drying at the finish, with a medium level of tooth scraping. Supportive carbonation.
Sweetness accelerates through each sip but remains mostly earthy with fruit pulp. Deep scarlet red color by the end of the bottle pour.

Purple color with a magenta hue. Dark enough where I cannot tell whether it’s clear. Tiny pink head that settles quickly to rim bubbles. Numerous tiny spots on the glass after each sip.
Tart acidic smell that’s similar to freshly crushed raspberries. Not as sweet as most lambics. No cherry that I can discern.
Very tart with no notable sugars. Again, raspberry dominates and I cannot tease out any cherry flavors. Lip smackingly tart. Low level of carbonation. The body is neutral. The finish is bone dry and the sourness creates a long aftertaste.

On tap at Craft & Draft
Hazy ruby orange, 1 cm white microbubbles head, full ring and light surface skiff. No sediment or floaties.
Strong cherry-raspberry aroma.
Cherry, tart raspberry, light funk.
Tangy bitterness, berry and light leather aftertaste linger.
Interesting with developing complex flavors.

Appearance: Pours a red raspberry tinged pink lemonade color with a one finger head that quickly fades to a ringlet; spotty lacing
Smell: Very funky, with cherry and, to a lesser extent, red raspberry tones
Taste: Acetic cherry flavors, at the outset with both a growing tart character as well as a more subtle red raspberry tone; oaky and funky, in the middle, with a lot of acidity in the finish
Mouthfeel: Medium body with moderate carbonation; puckery
Overall: I never had the chance to taste this when it was brewed for the AWAS 2017 series but I can see why Fonta Flora brought this back for a reprise; this is a serious fruited sour for those who love the funk
